Join me next Monday for a hot drink and chat ahead of the holiday season.
Previous workshop attendees have loved relating to others, empathising with daily challenges, and sharing ideas and glimmers that can make life that little bit easier in households sometimes.
Bring a friend if you like. Contact me if you have any questions. Feel free to share widely.
Many thanks.

I had the privilege of meeting some amazing ladies today 🤗
We talked about challenges, finding our trusted tribe, the difficulties of feeling seen and heard sometimes. How dad’s of kids are also wanting support too.
Everyone seemed to agree that validation can really help and I sensed a real “ahhhh, you REALLY get it; I’m not on this journey alone afterall” kind of relief by the end of our gathering.
The vulnerability of these women to show-up, be honest about how hard it is compared to parenting neurotypical children, and their sheer willingness to connect with complete strangers, was admirable. Thank you for coming along; I enjoyed meeting you all.
I’ll be hosting another event prior to Christmas in so please DM me if you’re interested & I’ll be sure to keep you in the loop.

🌒 There are still a couple of spaces remaining for this free event that I am hosting next Monday, 18th November from 1330-1430.
🤗 Everyone is welcome ☺️
✋ It’s an opportunity to stop, reflect, take stock and be surrounded by others who might be in a similar situation.
☕️ The cakes are fab, the coffee even better and is guarenteed.
Hope to see you there!

Whether you're a mum, wife, friend, sister, aunt, carer or daughter, I believe that mental health, like most things for women, is CYCLICAL.
It certainly has been for me over the past 20+ years, and in my case, it tends to shift and change based upon a few key variables:
✨ Sleep (or lack there of!)
✨ Nutrition (food is fuel!)
✨ Where my energy is being directed
✨ Exercise (movement is medicine!)
✨ Responsibilities (parenting/work)
✨ Life events
✨ Seasons (& the moon)
What I believe most deeply though, is that when the seeds of self-doubt creep in, and the black dog barks most loudly, that's when I know I am not living in alignment with my core values.
Let me know in the comments below what matters most to you? Mine are: connection, challenge, honesty, loyalty, trust and family. Jess ❤️

📌Do you feel like you're always 'on edge'?
📌 Can't leave your kids in the same room after school for fear they'll hurt each other?
📌 Maybe the meltdowns start as soon as they leave the classroom & climb into your car?
📌 I'm guessing you might dread the weekends sometimes?
📌 Perhaps there's simply not enough hours in the day to tackle your to-do list, let alone prioritise some self-care?
Coaching can help to assess where you're at, assist with prioritising when brain fog takes over, set new goals, keep you accountable and more than anything else, makes you feel heard, seen and VALIDATED.
DM me today if you'd like more info, I love supporting clients who are keen to make change, get a smile back on their faces and thrive by carving calm from chaos!

As September comes to a close, I am reflecting in an introspective way today.
If, like me, you have found the start of the new school year slightly challenging and (very?) demanding, then I would encourage you to set some time aside to take stock and celebrate any small wins.
If you'd like help identifying successes, facing challenges or simply to feel more accountable, then drop me a message and we can arrange a call to chat.
Coaching can be SO useful and I have space to work with 2 more clients in the next few months.
Happy Monday :-)

There are still a few spaces remaining for my free workshop which is happening in a week from tomorrow.
Thurs 26th Sept, 11am at Coffee House 43.
It will be an opportunity to stop, reflect, chat, maybe cry…. Who knows. I’ll share some ideas for you to consider & let you know in more detail how you can work with me going forward.
Hope to see you there. DM any questions, which I am happy to answer in advance of this event ☺️

Mum's~ I'd love you to join this event that I am hosting in a couple of weeks.
It's about connecting with others who might be facing similar challenges. I want you to know that you are NOT alone.
My aim, as a certified coach, introvert, empath, recovering perfectionist, straight-talking Australian and mum of an autistic daughter (or 2?!) is to share my knowledge, experience and understanding of parenting kids.
You can expect to come away feeling empowered to make change and hopefully, in a more positive frame of mind.
Feel free to DM me for more info.

This is one of the most honest and authentic interviews I have seen in a while. Thank you Kellie Bright- EastEnders for your vulnerability 🙏
The heart-breaking truth is that families are facing endless (hidden) struggles, particularly Mother's, who often typically carry the majority of the invisible mental load. The exhaustion she describes is simply relentless. I've hit burn out. Hell, I've been with the mental health crisis team when our eldest daughter hadn't sleep for more than 3 hours in a row for years on end & friends, family and even professionals kept saying 'just try harder to get her into a routine' 😔 .... It took an overnight sleep-study at Sheffield Children's Hospital to reveal that she woke 16 times during an 8 hour observation window. 16 times!!!! No wonder I was (literally) losing my mind.
My wish is that awareness was greater, more Mum's felt heard and that children were able to be seen and validated on a daily basis so that life was filled with more glimmers & joy, rather than a cortisol-inducing fight where you like you're constantly involved in some sort of battle.
‘I’m exhausted… I think any SEND parent is’
EastEnders actress Kellie Bright has been outspoken about the SEND system and her fight to get support for her son who has autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD and dyslexia.
@kelliebrightofficial told @bbcnuala that the fight to get support for a child with special educational needs and disabilities is exhausting.
Speaking in front of a live audience in the BBC Radio Theatre, she told Nuala that bridging the gap has left her ‘overwhelmed’ and that she feels like she’s letting her son down.
If you missed our SEND special, you can listen back any time on @bbcsounds – it’s the Woman’s Hour episode from 10 September 🎧
