Went down to Mipa paints last week for them to evaluate the Sirocco. They loved it.
It takes them 12 mins to apply and dry 3 coats of basecoat in their training centre booth at 23c.
Using the Sirocco it took them under 7 mins to do the same job. This is the same result that we got when tested by PPG and Sealey.

Welcome to our new page which is here to promote and discuss our new Sirocco spot dryer.
A spot dryer is useful for rapid drying of small areas of spray painted water based paints usually used in the automotive sector.
The Sirocco is an electrically heated dryer which is powered by compressed air from a workshop airline combined with a standard 240v supply.
This spot dryer will deliver up to 2000 litres a minute of warm and ultra dry air towards whatever it's pointed at.
It will, depending on the size of the panel typically dry a single coat of water based paint in around 1 minute saving enormous amounts of energy over what the alternative would consume.
Over and above the energy saving is the improvement in finish quality that using the Sirocco offers. Drying the paint so quickly reduces the possibility of inclusions sticking to the paint and just as importantly is the reduction in re-works required because moisture becomes trapped between the layers of paint.
