Very saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Jim. Condolences to his family, he did so much for amateur boxing, such a big loss. From Rob & everyone at the club. RIP ❤️

England Boxing are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr Javaid Mughal, fondly known to all as Dr Jim.

Dr Jim was a cherished figure within the Midlands boxing community and beyond, dedicating close to 30 years of his expertise and care to amateur boxing. He became a familiar and trusted presence at medicals, shows and championships whilst also inspiring and guiding more doctors to become involved in the sport we all love.

His kindness, commitment, and support touched countless lives, and he will be profoundly missed by everyone in the boxing family. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends at this difficult time.

May he rest in peace.
