Donβt neglect mobility training.
The ability to have full range of motion in your muscles and joints is one of the most important aspects of training. Improving your mobility can help you workout for longer, reduces joint pain, and can reduce the risk of injury.
Men often suffer from βit wonβt happen to meβ syndrome β but it will. Especially as you hit middle age, trust me, Iβve learned the hard way. Mobility and flexibility used to be a blind spot for me but then I noticed my body suffering and tweaked my own workouts to address the problem.
Tis the season to be jolly, and that can mean eating s**t, getting lazy with the gym and binge watching Netflix.
But!
It is perfectly possible to enjoy a Happy Christmas and enter the New Year feeling fit, not fat.
With a little forward planning, a smidgeon of self-discipline and a fairy god personal trainer, Cinderella will be ready for that ball come 2022, and let those haters EAT IT! π
