Tomorrow brings the first game of the 2025/2026 season and we are away to Luctonians Vixens for the first round of the community cup.

Whether you’ve never picked up a rugby ball or you’ve been dodging tackles since school days – CCS Women’s Rugby wants YOU!

We’re kicking off our pre-season training on Thursday 3rd July 7pm – and it’s the perfect time to jump in. The vibe? Think less scrums and bruises, more fun, fitness and finding your tribe.

💪 What to expect?
• A relaxed return-to-play focus on general fitness (no need to be match-fit!)
• A welcoming crew of players of all ages and abilities
• Laughs, encouragement, and probably some dodgy playlist choices
• A gentle ramp-up to full rugby glory as the season nears

So if you’re rugby-curious, recently retired from your social netball dreams, or just looking for a new way to stay active and make pals – come give it a try!

Members, including parents of Sharks are invited to attend the club AGM on 27 June at 7.30. Alongside the voting in of the Executive Committee, there are a number of resolutions that will need to be proposed by the club committee to reflect the propsoed merger with Norton.

We would welcome your input on these, both on the night and in advance. Our original list of potential options needs some refinement to ensure they properly reflect a joint club, so we will look to share these as soon as possible. We apologise for any concerns that were raised. It's a very complex process and we didn't get it right first time.
