14.02.26 - A Valentine's Day game full of love and happiness for our Eagles ❤️🖤🤍😍

Coach Lindsay reports:

"A stormer of a game and whole squad effort from Eagles today! Energy in abundance, great movement and interceptions galore. Plenty of changes but with a strong squad all of these were seamless and everyone fulfilled their role perfectly 👌 Huge congrats to on oppositions player! Coaches player today was , simply for having the biggest smile on her face throughout the entire game 🥰 Massive well done girls, you thoroughly deserved that one!"

07.02.26 ⭐❤️🖤🤍 EAGLES WIIIIIIN 🤍🖤❤️⭐

Coach Janet reports:

"Cracking game for Eagles yesterday securing their first win of the new year. Coming forward for the ball, being patient in taking the ball through court and using the lateral and reset option effectively created space and opportunities. Strong defence forced a number of errors from the opposition and gave our shooters more opportunities to convert to goals. Shooting stats were much improved too.
Congratulations to all - tough playing with just 7 but there was no doubt about your commitment. Was lovely to see the confidence, smiles and belief come back - let’s take that forward into the rest of the season.
Well done on PoM and thanks to Claire for scoring 😊"

07.02.26- HAWKS WIIIINNNNN ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Coach Vic reports:

"A great game for Hawks yesterday. Started off strong with calm play and got used to a new rotation. Strong shooting stats in the first half set you up well for the second half. Defence adapted well to Amy joining us and was consistent throughout game, providing great options to reset. You kept your heads and kept possession to grab the win. The last quarter showed your resilience and the ability to keep calm under pressure. Well done to all. Thanks to Amy for playing and Kirsty’s mum for scoring!"

31.01.26- Disappointment for our Eagles

Coach Janet reports:

"Disappointing game for eagles yesterday - after a good start leading after the first quarter the score turned in the opposition’s favour. Despite forcing several errors we weren’t able to capitalise on these and made too many errors ourselves. At times there were some lovely passages of play through court where we moved the ball freely and made good ball passing options but the opposition defence was generally too strong for us. We will be back strong next week I’m sure."

31.01.26- ⭐❤️🖤🤍 HAWKS WIN 🤍🖤❤️⭐

Coaxh Vic reports:

"A lovely, confident game for Hawks today. It was great to see all building each other up and putting the energy and work in, considering the shift in team. Defence was mastering the rebounds and play down the court was patient and considered. Some great attacking work too, using all the options to reset and get around some physical and sticky defenders. Well done on keeping your heads and not letting a zippy, young side disrupt your play. Defence on opposition centre passes was excellent. Well done all! You all deserve a rest and a glass of something after that"

A tough battle for Eagles last weekend ❤️🖤🤍

Coach Lindsay reports:

'A slow start for Eagles meant the game quickly turned into a tough game of chase. Much stronger in the second and third quarter, goal for goal at times and some great hustle in defence but an injury for Beky and Nai having to shoot off for her umpiring assessment meant we saw the game out with 6. Huge team spirit and work rate in the final 15 to secure a point but a tough day all round. Congrats to on getting player and get well soon to .williams!'

HUGE congrats to for passing your C Award Umpiring Assessment straight after 💪🏻⭐🫶🏻

⭐WINNERS ARE GRINNERS😍⭐

Coach Claire reports:

'A very tough, physical match today for Hawks but they didn’t let it get the better of them. They played their game and secured a well deserved win. Some lovely patient play through the court and so many interceptions. Some things to work on as always but a great way to start the second half of the season.
Well done to for gaining opposition’s player of the match. Certainly well deserved!
Also was fantastic to see Liv Y back on court for her first game since injury last season. She settled in like she had never been away!
Thanks to all the supporters and scorers, always lovely to have people on the bench ❤️'

Onto the next ladies 💪🏻⭐

10.01.2026

Eagles started 2026 with a tough fixture against unbeaten top of the league, coach Janet reports:

'Although Eagles lost today they didn’t make things easy for the opposition resulting in them making quite a few errors! 2 quarters had a difference of just 2 goals and 3rd quarter was level. The opposition coach congratulated the defence on their game and we are the first team this team that has prevented them from scoring at least 40 goals.
It was a physical game but none of you backed off from the challenges and continued to give your all throughout the whole game. Still areas for improvement but a better result than last time round. A positive start to the season x'

First game of 2026 for Hawks - what a way to kick the year off!

Coach Vic reports:

"A great game for Hawks. It was a quiet first quarter but Hawks settled quickly into the game. There were some lovely passages into the circle throughout the game and showed good patience with possession. They kept their heads up and pushed on throughout to increase the score gap. Defence was great and put a lot of pressure on which resulted in opposition mistakes which we capitalised on. Everyone put in a shift and kept the momentum going! Well done! Let’s keep it going to next week"
