The UK Government’s Menopause Action Plan 2026–27 is a clear sign that Menopause is finally being taken seriously as a health, workplace, and economic issue.

That matters.

But the real test isn’t intention — it’s the impact that follows…….

- Are we sure that this plan will reduce postcode inequality in care?
- Will it move workplaces from awareness to accountability in the right way – helping women with real world support ?
- And most importantly, will women actually feel the difference in their daily lives?

Too often, menopause policy focuses on visibility rather than outcomes, leaving women to adapt to systems never designed for them.

This next phase is an opportunity to shift from simply guiding to embedded practice — and from good intentions to measurable change.

Because success won’t be loud. It will be when Menopause support becomes simply….normal.

And now, Menopause Support is finally taking its rightful place on the workplace agenda! 🧡

From April 2026, organisations with 250+ employees can publish a voluntary action plan — becoming mandatory in spring 2027 — outlining the need to:

• Reduce the gender pay gap
• Support employees experiencing menopause

With 900,000 women leaving the workplace due to menopause symptoms (CIPD), this is no longer a wellbeing after thought — it’s a leadership, culture, and retention priority.

But the real question is……Are you preparing to comply… or to lead?

✨ Are your managers confident having menopause conversations?
✨ Are your adjustments proactive — not reactive?
✨ And how many brilliant women could you retain by getting this right?

A powerful shift is finally coming to UK workplaces — and it puts Menopause support firmly on the agenda! 🔥

How ready is your organisation to normalise menopause, prioritise wellbeing, and create a workplace where every stage of life is supported?

From April 2026, employers with 250+ employees can publish a voluntary action plan, and by spring 2027, this becomes mandatory. These plans must show how organisations will support employees through menopause, alongside reducing their gender pay gap.

With 900,000 women leaving the workplace due to menopause symptoms (CIPD), Recruitment and Retention needs to be TOP priority!

The government’s guidance highlights evidence‑informed actions: training managers, workplace adjustments, occupational health advice, and proactive policies designed to make menopause a safe, open topic at work - what I would like to see is standards so this is practically implemented!

This is more than compliance — it’s a cultural moment so many woman have been waiting for! 💫
