Chesham 1879 held their annual tennis finals on Saturday Sept 12th .
A great event enjoyed by all with winners having their trophy’s presented by Parveiz Aslam our Town Mayor.

Run by our club coach John Hatch these sessions are designed for complete beginners or those returning to squash after a break. Junior squash camp running 24-25th August. A great way to burn off some summer energy and pick up new squash skills.

The camp runs for 2 days 10:30-13:30 each day. £30 per day for members, £35 per day for non-members.

The camp will consist of routines, racket skills exercises & match play/competition. We will break for lunch at midday for approx. 30 mins & would kindly ask if you can bring a packed lunch & a water bottle.

P4P meets every Monday at Chesham 1879 from 1.30-3.00 pm. The session is coach led and adapted for adults living with Parkinsons. Partners and carers are also welcome to attend. Its a fun, sociable session that includes tea,coffee, and cake.

We had a fantastic evening of squash and racketball club championship finals last week. Well done to all the winners and finalists! 🏅

We had some really closely contested matches making it a fantastic watch. Followed by a well deserved drink in the bar afterwards.

This year we had entries across 6 categories - main, women’s, juniors, league 4 and below, vintage and vets. Something for everyone. It could be you next year 😊

We had a fabulous exhibition match last night at Chesham 1879 LT & SC Club between Grace Gear and katiemalliff

Such a treat to see these two world ranked players on court. Thank you both for joining us and making it such a special evening for all who came. Thanks too for playing at the start of another UK heatwave 🥵

Thank you to everyone who came. Your ticket and raffle purchases meant we made almost £1k for the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust!! Such a fantastic and important cause close to our hearts at Chesham 1879.
