Chester-le-Street Amateur Rowing Club

Chester-Le-Street Amateur Rowing Club formed in 1888 and is one of the oldest rowing clubs in the country.

CLSARC has a rich history of regional, national and international and Olympic success across all ages. We have access to a 1500m stretch of the River Wear providing us with an excellent base to coach our members in a safe and structured way - enabling them to represent the club at regional, national and international events.
