As the countdown begins to one of the biggest races on the UK calendar this weekend, athletes are completing the final stages of their taper and turning their focus towards race day preparations for what promises to be an incredible event.

Whether you’re taking on the distance for the first time or lining up for your tenth attempt, one question remains the same: how do you stay strong when the race gets tough? 🧠

Success on race day is about more than physical fitness. Often, it comes down to mental resilience, mindset, and the ability to perform under pressure.

🌧️ Accept that your feet will get wet.
