Fins Mermaid School

Well hello everyone!
We’ve been MIA since we lost our big pool and not able to run any regular mermaid sessions,

However we will be able to run some mermaid experiences at our new Chester pool over the holidays.

We are currently planning 2 x 2 hour experiences for Tuesday 28th May so watch this space for more details. 🧜🏻🧜🏻‍♀️🧜🏻‍♂️

It was soooo good to be back with my mermaids last night after the pool repairs stopped play.
We restarted a fresh set of 6 classes with some fitness, some skills and the more experienced mermaids attempted a tic toc inspired poolside entry, which created lots of giggles! Our 3 new mermaids learned some basic skills and will join our main pod next week to build on their skills.

We will be starting a new 6 week course this coming Friday 22nd July. The 45 minute sessions start at 7pm.

If you have a budding little mermaid who would like to come and join us then please get in touch.

Cost is £60 for the 6 week course, which includes the use of our tails, we just need to know your childs shoe and clothes size.

There is no minimum or maximum age! HOWEVER potential mermaids DO need to be able to swim confidently and will undergo a swim test for us to assess the ability to manage swimming in a monofin/skin.

The Miss Mermaid UK pageant final will be on the 2nd & 3rd September - applications open on Tuesday! So look out for the link!

And very excitedly, a second inclusive pageant will be taking place on the 4th September - this will have title winner categories to include everything that Miss Mermaid doesn’t including:

Merman of the year (open to men aged 18+)
Mermaid Majesty (open to Women aged 37+)
Mermaid Heart & Merman Heart, both in teen & junior titles (open to all under 18’s)
Spirit Of The Sea & Spirit Of The Sea Junior (open to non binary & everyone else outside of the above categories of all ages)

We are super excited to be adding these new Inclusive categories and therefore completing what will now be the official
