Introducing the next evolution of polo at our J F Polo Academy – Electro Polo! Experience the excitement of polo on electric wheels in a fun, safe and exciting new way.

Whether you’re completely new to polo or looking for a fresh challenge, no experience is required! Lessons are available for children from 6 years old through to adults, with everyone starting on our beginner electric wheels before progressing at their own pace.

During your 1-hour launch session, you’ll:
🏑 Learn the fundamentals of the polo game with professional polo players and instructors at a specially designed polo facility
⚡ Learn to ride the electric wheels safely and confidently.
🏇 Develop your swing using specially designed short polo mallets.
🎯 take on the obstacle course and work towards putting it all together in an exciting Electro Polo game!

Today was all about getting our polo ponies camera-ready! 🐎✨ Bathing, grooming, and polishing every coat.

We currently have 8 polo ponies ready to find their new homes after training with us. Whether you’re looking for your first pony or adding to your string, we’d love to help you find the perfect match.

⚠️ EXTREME HEAT UPDATE ⚠️

With temperatures set to continue to rise across the UK this week, the HPA has considered the safety risks to horses, players, grooms, and officials and has issued the following update. We are monitoring the situation as it develops and further updates will be provided if the situation changes.

🔴 RED WARNINGS 🔴
The Weather from the Met Office has issued several red weather warnings for extreme heat across the UK for Wednesday and Thursday this week.

🚫 We would like to advise members that if there is a red weather warning in force in your area, ALL polo is suspended during the times specified. This includes all training, chukkas, and matches in the affected area.

🐴 Horses must not travel through a red weather warning area whilst this warning is in force unless in a veterinary emergency.

🟠 AMBER WARNINGS 🟠
Where there are amber warnings in place, please continue to follow the HPA’s guidelines on extreme heat, which can be found in the Welfare Booklet. Pay particular attention to the guidelines on aggressive cooling measures and where possible, rearrange play for the cooler parts of the day.
In addition, as per our rules, free changes are permitted in areas covered by an amber warning or with a forecast temperature higher than 28°C.

We are incredibly proud of our students who represented Liverpool with determination, teamwork and some fantastic polo. There were plenty of strong wins throughout the tournament, and everyone gave it their all.

Watching our students grow in confidence and achieve these results makes all the hard work worthwhile. We couldn’t be prouder of the entire team—both human and equine—and we’re already excited for what next season will bring!
