Chester Gladiators RLFC: A New Home in Blacon! We’re thrilled to announce our move to King George Playing Fields, marking an exciting new era for rugby league in Chester!

Hi everyone, as you'll know running an amateur sports club in this day and age takes some doing, we rely on many club partners and volunteers including coaches, first-aiders, helpers, parents, sponsors, the league and the professional game. We are incredibly proud to have provided junior rugby league in Chester for the past 10 or so years (some might say against the odds). There have been many amazing and happy memories. Please feel free to post your best memories below.

So it is with a heavy heart that we are now taking a break, and suspending our Mini Gladiators section for now. We want to extend a massive thank you to Sean Carter and coaches for all your hard work and dedication to keep the junior section running this past few years. 👏

If you are a current paying member of the club for your child, please now cancel your standing orders or direct debits.

If you are looking for junior rugby for your child in the area, we recommend checking out the RFL's club finder or contacting North Wales Crusaders Rugby League Foundation.

If in future you feel you have what it takes to coach and set up a junior rugby section with us, we'd love to hear from you!

Big thanks to Salford City Roosters U9s for the trip down to Chester Gladiators Rugby League today. It was a fab game, hopefully see you again soon.

Our U9s had a great day out thanks to North Wales Crusaders Foundation at the Rhyl Rugby Club Rugby League Festival today - some terrific action shots!

Next up the Mini Crusaders Festival at Chester RUFC ~ 6 Aug.

U9s are meeting at 10:30 this Sunday for 11:00 start at the Cheshire. We are playing on the School side, Plas Newton Lane. Sorry for any confusion on Spond!

Our under 9s are looking forward to playing their match with Rochdale Mayfield ARLFC U9s as part of the North Wales Crusaders Rugby League Club Mini Rugby Festival at Chester RUFC this Sunday. The mini festival is a curtain raiser for the Crusaders and Rochdale Hornets League One fixture in Chester.

Thanks to Newton Storm ARLFC U9s for making the trip to Chester today to play at The Cheshire County Sports Club. Some fantastic tries from the boys and girls and an exciting end to end game to watch, well done. 😃🌪🗡🏉👍

Training for our U9s and U7s teams (2022-23 school years 1 to 4), will continue on Wednesday evenings at 5:45 at The Cheshire County Sports Club, Plas Newton Lane Chester (School side) until the end of the school term.

We'll then break for summer holidays before returning at the start of the next school year, to complete our season by October.

We offer fun and skills based primary rugby league sessions for all children regardless of experience or ability. Our membership rates are very reasonable at only £100 a year or £10 a month.

If your child is looking for a new challenge and to make new friends why not check us out!
