Sub 2-hour Birmingham Half for Leah👏

This result wasn’t a straight A-B journey for Leah.

Last year, Leah ran this same race in 2:02:15. A PB at the time and a huge achievement. After that, Leah wanted to shift focus toward strength-based goals, but over time, on top of other things, training started to feel more like pressure, and the enjoyment dipped a little.

That’s a common experience after hitting a big milestone or a change in direction.

Sometimes the hardest part can be recognising the new goal and direction no longer aligns with what you actually want.

So we decided to pivot back toward running.

Fast forward to now: a sub-2-hour half marathon, built from a solid foundation, and a much clearer understanding of what works for Leah.

Now the focus shifts again. Same direction, different goal. Onto the next big challenge: the LLangollen 50k.

Proud to have completed the TCI Level 1 course last year.

I strongly believe that developing my skills by learning from knowledgeable coaches who’ve been in the industry longer than me is essential. Their experience, and lessons help sharpen my own coaching and, ultimately, allow me to deliver as much value as possible to my clients.

Staying a student of the craft will always be a priority.

Can't wait to see what this year of learning will bring!

Earlier this week we kicked off .house.fitness_ first bootcamp of 2026! 💪

Before getting stuck in with workouts, we took the chance to get everyone together to talk through nutrition. 🍎

Not the sciencey jargon, but practical application and approaches.

As a group, having the chance to ask and be asked questions about nutrition was a great way for our participants to break the ice with us as coaches and as a team ready to build in 2026!
