The moment you've all been waiting for: The Grand Prix Results!

Well done to all the athletes who have ran, jumped and threw at this Seasons Cheshire Track & Field Grand Prix, as well as the Officials, and Volunteers who helped make these events happen.

For athletes who have won trophies, we're working with club reps to arrange distribution of the trophies which will start this week either in person or by post.

Trophy Presentations

Ahead of match 4 this Sunday, we wanted to give an update on trophy presentations. We've decided not to present trophies at the final match as we did last year. Its something the committee have been discussing for several weeks but there are a few challenges we simply cannot overcome;

1. The roster scoring system isn't perfect. We have one age group that has to be scored manually and some events that are missing for certain age groups. We've got scoring tables for these now, but it needs our results team to do this manually.
2. Some of our team are elsewhere on Sunday. The Grand Prix is ran entirely by volunteers, who also have families to support and a half marathon to finish. This means we don't have spare officials to take out of our on track teams.

The good news is the final results will be posted on Monday 14th September, and trophies will be delivered to clubs through next week.

Its the final call to enter the 2026 Cheshire Track & Field Grand Prix! Match 4 takes place this Sunday at Ellesmere Port Sports Village hosted by West Cheshire Athletic Club. You've got until 2359 tomorrow (Wednesday) to enter and pay if you want to compete on Sunday.

There might not be a Cheshire Track & Field Grand Prix Match until 13th September but our officials are still hard at work.

7 of Cheshires finest officials are supporting the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games at Scotstoun Stadium this week, across the Warm Up track, Call Room, Field Judges and Field of Play teams 😎

If you can't resolve it, please contact your club's membership secretary to resolve it. Unfortunately we can't resolve it for you and need you to have a valid EA licence to comply with the terms of our licence for the event.
