Hi guys just to let you all know we are running slightly behind with our opening day. We are very close to completion now! Keep your eye peeled for our new opening date coming next week. Our new website launches in the next week, so pre sign ups will be available.

So 2024 was a very busy year for me! I purchased the Wellington Hotel on the High street in New Whittington, Chesterfield. After some to and fro with the planning department at Chesterfield borough Council, I was granted planning permission for the change of use from a pub to gymnasium! This has been the biggest investment of my life and I plan to bring something special for the community! It will be a place that leaves you feeling fantastic after every workout and also a place of mental health support.

The gym will be opening in 2 phases. Phase 1 will be the opening of the original building that is just in the process of being fully renovated. The new roof is now on and work on the inside is coming along nicely. Phase 1 will include 2600 sqft of strength equipment and 1400sqft of cardio equipment. There will also be a relaxation and stretching room to wind down in after your work out. Phase 1 will also include a shower room, sun bed room and changing facilities. Phase 2 is the extension we will be building on the side. This will give us an additional 1600 sqft which will extend the strength section, and also include and fitness room for group class exercise. The classes will include spinning, boxercise, yoga, HITT work outs and much more! In addition I am also having a mental health support office that has a facility to assist people in times of crisis. I will be releasing more information on this closer to opening day. On the back I will be utilising the outdoor space to create a Peace garden for outdoor relaxation, socialisation and exercise.

O and one last thing, I have also had a Inpost locker installed for the Vinted lovers! You can train and pick up your bargains straight after!

At present I do not have a fixed date for opening, but we are estimating around March 2025 for phase 1.
