South Coast Mermaids

I've been absent - although have still been teaching every week! Life with a 'proper job' is hard! However, classes are running every week and I am putting in a Fin Fun Mermaid Tails order this weekend! Do get in touch if you want to add to that order!

I am excited to announce that I will be at the Back Then Festival this Saturday in Chichester between 12 and 4pm! I have tails to try on and I will be running a mermaid-themed story time! V2 Radio Jam Cafe

🛑 Stop and think
Take time to assess your surroundings. Look for dangers and always research local signs and advice.

👪 Stay together
When around water always go with friends and family.
Swim where there is a lifeguard
Never swim alone

🚨In an emergency:
If you are at the coast, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
Don't enter the water to rescue.
If someone is in trouble do not enter the water yourself - you could quickly get into difficulty too. Instead: Phone. Float. Throw.

Throw something to them that floats
Encourage them to Float to Live

🌊If you fall in or become tired Stay calm, float on your back and call for help. Throw something that floats to somebody that has fallen in.
