It is with great sadness that we share with you all the passing of one of our Alumni, Alex Langham.
Langham, as he is fondly known, was involved with the club between 2014-2017 as a player and assistant on game days.
After a tragic accident at his home in Suffolk Alex passed away this morning at 7am.
Langham was always the life and soul of any event, bringing sunshine into the lives of all he came in contact with. Whether it was his special team heroics, his devilish laugh or belting out Anastasia, you always had a great time when Langham was around. As well as this, he is an incredible human being who had the biggest of hearts and smiles. Always dependable if called upon and an all around fantastic young man.
Taken too early from us at the age of 28, all of us at the spitfires send out love to Tony, Clare, Theo, all family and friends of Alex in this tough time.
Rest easy Langham, once a spitfire always a spitfire ๐๐๐๐

A massive thank you to everyone who came down to support us today. It means an incredible amount to see so many friends, family, alumni and students on the sidelines of our games.
Thank you to Kingston for a competitive and well fought game. Good luck for the rest of your season.
Not the result we wanted today but we bounce back and look forward to Oxford next weekend.
Finally, a massive thank you to Julie and Tim Musk for coming down and bringing Willโs jersey. It was a privilege to honour Will today and we hope we did yourselves and him proud.
Once a spitfire always a spitfire!
