Just over here at 43, balls deep in perimenopause, still lifting heavy sh*t & not worrying about cortisol or "destroying my hormones"...
Because building muscle is the single best thing I can do for my health & body composition.
Been 8 months since I last took one of these...
Pretty chuffed with where I've gotten to since my surgeries πͺ

The version of yourself where you feel your strongest, healthiest, and look your best is likely to be heavier than you'd like.
Because that version has built muscle.
And constantly underfuelling your body is one sure way to never get there.
Especially in your 40s and beyond.
Dieting is a phase, not a way of life.

I certainly was when I put these side by side while going down the rabbit hole of looking through Mariana's progress pics across the years we worked together last Tuesday morning.
