What is Power Yoga?

Power Yoga is a more dynamic style of practice where movement flows from one posture to the next, building strength, stability, and endurance.

Classes tend to move at a slightly quicker pace than Hatha, creating a continuous sequence that challenges the body while maintaining focus on breath and control.

While flexibility is often associated with yoga, Power Yoga places equal emphasis on strength - supporting posture, balance, and resilience through controlled effort.

Over time, this style of practice can help build both physical confidence and mental focus, especially when balanced with slower sessions such as Hatha or Yin.

Strength and mobility don’t belong to a certain body type...

They’re built through repetition.
Through patience.
Through showing up as things are.

This kind of work isn’t about perfection. It’s about developing control, awareness, and resilience over time.

Real bodies.
Real progress.
No performance required!

Classes and 1:1 sessions run weekly in and around Chichester - book via the website.

Grateful for reflections like this...

Many people arrive at class carrying the weight of the day - work, screens, responsibilities, a busy mind. Practice offers a chance to slow things down, move the body, and let the nervous system settle.

Sometimes the best way to end the day is simply to move and breathe!

Classes continue weekly in and around Chichester & Selsey. Details in bio.

Not everyone wants to follow a fixed class schedule... that's why Road Trip Yoga offers private 1:1 and group bookings.

Sometimes it helps to work at your own pace, focus on specific goals, or practise with people you already feel comfortable with.

1:1 sessions offer a personalised approach - combining yoga and strength work to support mobility, resilience, posture, and long-term movement health.

Private group sessions are also available to bring family, friends, colleagues together for a more intimate practice, or special occasions. These can be arranged at a time that suits the group and adapted to all levels.

Simple, supportive, and built around real people rather than perfect conditions!

For those interested in private sessions or group bookings, enquiries are welcome. Please enquire via the link in bio!

What is Hatha Yoga?

Hatha is one of the most traditional forms of yoga practice. In modern classes, it usually refers to a steady-paced session where poses are held slightly longer, allowing time to focus on alignment, breathing, and body awareness.

Rather than moving quickly from one pose to the next, Hatha gives space to explore each posture and understand how it feels in the body.

This makes it a particularly accessible style for beginners, while still offering benefits for more experienced practitioners.

Over time, Hatha practice can help build mobility, balance, strength, and calm focus - creating a foundation that supports both daily life and other forms of movement.

Hatha Yoga classes run weekly in Chichester and Selsey. 1:1's and private group bookings also welcome. Details in bio!

Trying something new can feel uncertain...

Many people assume yoga classes require flexibility, experience, or a certain level of fitness before starting. In reality, most people arrive feeling stiff, unsure, or slightly out of practice.

Classes are designed to be structured but adaptable. Guidance is offered throughout, options are always available, and there’s no expectation to already be flexible or strong.

The aim isn’t to perform well.

It’s to build steadiness - physically and mentally - through consistent practice over time.

For those considering joining, weekly sessions for all levels continue in Chichester and Selsey.

The days are getting longer...

The air’s a little warmer...

And beach yoga season is getting closer!

There’s something different about practising outdoors - the sound of the sea, fresh air, sand under your feet, and a slower pace.

Summer is on the horizon and beach sessions will be returning soon.

More details to follow. 🌞

A common hesitation before starting yoga is the feeling that you need to already be flexible, fit, or experienced.

In reality, most people begin because they feel stiff, stressed, or simply want to move more regularly.

Yoga offers a steady way to improve mobility, build strength, support posture, and create a calmer relationship with the body and breath.

Progress tends to arrive gradually - through consistent practice rather than intensity.

For those considering trying a class, weekly sessions continue in Chichester and Selsey. 1:1s and private group bookings also welcome!
