Perfect paddling conditions for DQSC Sunday Funday today.

Paddle Safer Course on the Chichester Canal this evening. We anticipated rain and got sunshine! The course is aimed at new paddlers but is open to anyone who wants to learn more about:
A. Equipment - what its used for and how to look after it
B. Environment - weather, hazards, getting on the water and how/where/when to get off
C. Planning - what to think about when planning a trip on the water
D. Rescues - how to manage those unexpected situations

Oh and some of even managed to pick up some litter.

Big Paddle Clean-up this evening on Chichester Canal. What a load of rubbish! Actually not a huge amount was found. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it ths evening. And thanks to Selsey Beach Litter Ninjas for their help too!

(1) Hunston and join kayaks, paddleboards and pedestrians OR
(2) Canal Basin and join Canal Volunteers and Staff.
