Terrific paddle on the Adur from Shoreham to Bramber and back in the sunshine. 12 miles, 9 paddlers, one black swan and a chance to practice some ferry gliding in the tidal flow. Thank you Melanie for Leading the paddle.

A fantastic weekend was enjoyed by 12 of us on the River Wye on the Andrew Miles Memorial paddle. Many thanks to Keith for organising, and Nick & Paul for leading us. There was no lack of water which was one of the fears beforehand. Day one was warm and dry, and at lunchbreak we were nicely positioned for watching the entertainment as some of the open canoes on hire capsized. On day 2 some of us enjoyed playing on the rapids while others shot through or portaged. And then those of us who hadn't already got wet capsizing got wet in the rain but it was still warm.

Beautiful Wednesday Evening Paddle yesterday.

Beautiful day to paddle on the River Arun from The Swan Bridge Pulborough to just past Harwoods Green. 14 paddlers in 13 craft, including a family group Mum, Dad and daughter. Two opens, one sit on top and mainly touring boats.

Friday night paddle from DQSC. Demonstration of good balance by Marcus and rolling practice back at DQSC. Dramatic skies to start but evening finished in sunshine.
