A fantastic event by Wiltshire Employment and Community Skills

Was a pleasure to attend and see the results of all the effort everyone has put in.

Schemes like this are often few and far between, running on hopes and dreams and people like this make it happen and really make a difference in peoples lives. Even on the day when we're rocked by a heatwave they came through with all the aircon to make everything work and keep the event going!

Can't speak highly enough, congrats guys.

Went to a museum the other day and found this beauty. You could say this is where it all began!

Oldest rock in the UK, 2.9 Billion years old

Let it be supposed that way back n the Pre-cambrian era there were some wee single cells hobbling there way up around this thing...

Amoeba Honnold, Mitosis Messner the first climbers :D

Some of us haven't really evolved much since then to be fair...

He takes all the variables into account, relative humidity, the current solar climate and the Coriolis effect all come into play.

Believe me when I say the eclipse caused absolute havoc with the granular disposition of the particles, whew!

We had several camera obscura, some Eclipse glasses (Thanks Neal!) and of course... Colanders.
