Chippenham Tennis Club 6-court outdoor tennis club offering year round coaching for adults & juniors. Friendly and welcoming for all abilities Welcome to Chippenham Tennis Club.

Group & individual sessions, club play, social events, winter and summer teams, plus competitions and tournaments throughout the year. We are a club of around 200 members, using 6 floodlit courts in the market town of Chippenham, Wiltshire. We share the excellent facilities of Chippenham Sports Club. Visitors are welcome. See club-night details on our website. New members, whatever your level, are welcome. We run coaching programmes for all levels and ages from 3 to 93.

2026 LTA Awards Nominations are Open

Please see the message below from Wiltshire tennis…

Please consider nominating someone you know who deserves recognition for their amazing role in opening up tennis and padel.

There are a total of 13 award categories for the 2027 LTA Awards.

The full list of categories is below:
* Cathie Sabin Volunteer of the Year (someone who volunteers in any capacity in tennis/padel)
* Club of the Year (a tennis or padel club of any shape and size)
* Coach of the Year (a coach who works in a “grassroots” venue – club/community level)
* Competition of the Year (a competition of any size)
* Lifetime Achievement Award (someone who has volunteered for over 30 years in tennis/padel)
* Official of the Year (any level of tennis/padel Official)
* Park Venue of the Year (any park venue delivering tennis/padel)
* Performance Coach of the Year (a coach who works with performance players)
* Protect Where We Play Award (sustainability award)
* School of the Year (any school delivering tennis/padel)
* Tennis Opened Up Award (any individual, programme or project demonstrating outstanding inclusion)
* University of the Year (any University delivering tennis/padel)
* Young Person of the Year (someone aged 14-24 who volunteers or helps in any capacity in tennis/padel)

Junior sessions start back today from 9am!

The coaches are looking forward to seeing you back on the court! 💪🏼

Just a quick reminder of where everyone needs to be today:

🎾 9am
• 6U & 8U sessions are in the bubble
• 9U sessions are outside on the courts

🎾 10am & 11am
• All sessions as normal outside on the courts

This will be the plan for the next few months 👍

Just a quick reminder that all Saturday and weekday evening coaching sessions will resume from the week commencing Saturday 5th September.

👉 There are NO coaching sessions this weekend (29th/30th August).

We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer and enjoyed some well-earned time off! ☀️🎾

We are so pleased to celebrate our most successful league season ever, with an incredible 7 league titles! 🎾👏

Men’s A - division 1
Women’s A - division 1
Mixed A - division 1
Men’s B - division 2
Men’s C - division 3
Women’s C - division 4

And Mixed A also won the League Knockout Cup! 🏆🥂

A huge congratulations to all our league players for an amazing season!

We celebrated together with a little tennis, followed by a BBQ, cake and ch*****ne. 🎾🍰🥂
