So a very small team attended the Ico Welsh open this weekend.
Well done Luther, Ethan and Jasmine
Between the three of them they picked up 3 silvers and 3 bronze
Very proud, lots of lessons to learn and take with us.

Graiding will be the 26th and 27th of April at the unit (crawly industrial state)
Saturday the 26th of April Mini clubs 11-11:45am
26th April White tiger 12-2
Anyone who is doing orange and above will need a full sparring kit.
Sunday 27th of April junior Black and black belt 10-3.
For those doing this, you will need lunch , water and you need to bring trainers that you can run in.
Please let me know who will be taking part as I need to confirm numbers. Please also note we only do black belt graiding once a year
Secondly we will be closed over the Easter holidays as normal the last session willl be Friday April 4th and we will be back Tuesday the 22nd of April.

I’m really sorry , but we are going to have to cancel the class tonight as dads really unwell and I’m working but we will be back to normal next week as I will be back. Apologies again

So just a quick write up.
All 5 fighters did themselves proud this weekend.
First thing to remember
600 competitive this weekend in a sports hall with hundreds of parents is daunting enough for anyone.
So if you get up on a matt infront of all these people ready to compete "You're All Ready A Winner In My Book"
The Standards are high at this event. Some students train every day at some of these clubs.
Ethan this weekend came away as double English Champion with some amazing performances.
Finn at his first event got past his nerves from Saturday and just missed out on gold in the last seconds.
Jasmine, who had the toughest group for her age group again should have taken Gold, but a brilliant silver she took and a lesson on why she missed out on gold will make sure it's gold next time.
Darcie, nerves over took her final but silver is a good afternoons work.
Luther again silver and if he can bring his spirit he has in the gym with him which i know will burst out one day at an event, gold will be his.
So I'm very proud of all of them.
Hard work and dedication makes Champions and gets you on the podium.

Wishing our fighters good luck today at the ICO English Championship.
Just a small squad today but all here ready to do thier best.
Ethan already has one gold from yesterday 💪

Just to let everyone know,Crawley Mill is currently closed due to an accident.
I am currently sat in the traffic by the bridge and unable to get through. I understand its closed both directions.
So will need to cancel all classes this evening.
