Chiseldon Tennis Club Chiseldon Tennis Club offers options for players looking for friendly recreational games and those looking for a more completive tennis alternative.

Members can book free court hire via our website, non-members can opt for the 'play and pay' alternative. We are based at Chiseldon Recreation Field. We have 3, brand new, outdoor courts, all of which are floodlit. We are an LTA affiliated club with TennisMark accreditation. We are a friendly and social club and welcome members of all abilities and ages. For members seeking more competitive play,

we have 5 teams (mens, ladies and mixed) in the Swindon and District League. We also hold weekly social tennis nights and coaching sessions for juniors and adults. If you are interested in joining or would like to know more then feel free to contact us or why not come along to the courts and meet us. We hope to see you soon!

So great to see so many children this morning at our regular coaching sessions. PLUS our brand new pickleball coaching session got underway today with 8 keen players coming to join us at the club.
Sessions will run from 11-12 each week. Cost £5 for members and £8 for non-members.

What a summer of tennis at Chiseldon! ☀️
The summer league has officially wrapped up. We faced some incredibly tough matches and played plenty of fantastic, hard-fought tennis—but most importantly, we had an absolute blast doing it.
While the scoreboards didn't always reflect just how close and competitive those matches were, we are incredibly proud of everyone's effort! 🙌

Now, we are gearing up and looking forward to the Winter season! ❄️ Just a quick reminder that the Swindon and District winter league format looks a little different than the summer setup:
🎾 First Rotation (Mixed Doubles): Our 4 players split into two mixed pairs to play two mixed doubles rubbers (1st pair vs 1st pair, and 2nd pair vs 2nd pair).
🎾 Second Rotation (Gender Doubles): The players regroup into a men's doubles pair and a ladies' doubles pair to play the final two rubbers.
The plan is to field two teams from our club, Chiseldon A and B. We will publish the match time tables once they have been scheduled.

Another great afternoon of Pickleball fun this afternoon for both adults and children. Lots of players are showing real promise, and a few are even thinking about taking it further 😊

Everyone who has taken part over the last three Saturdays will be contacted and given the chance to continue playing and organise their own games. Our Pickleball nets and bats will be available at the Tennis Club for self organised groups — a brilliant way to stay active and make new friends.

Yesterday afternoon we hosted the second of our three Pickleball Open Day events—and what an afternoon it was. Our biggest attendance ever, great weather, and loads of enthusiasm. Pickle-ball is clearly taking off in Chiseldon!

Our first Pickle-Ball Open Day took place yesterday afternoon, and it was a fantastic success with plenty of fun on court. These free sessions are designed to introduce all ages and abilities to this fast‑growing sport. Pickle-Ball is expanding rapidly across the UK, with participation surging and growth now outpacing padel.
