🥵🥵🥵So proud of all our players this weekend June 27/28 as we took two teams to the WFA/AXA O40’s and 60’s Women’s Walking Football National Cup 2026 at Uni of Gloucestershire

The 40’s competition on the Saturday was definitely tough! Playing strong teams all day on the sweltering 3G pitches…we definitely gave it a go and even managed a few goals :)
Heroic goalkeeping, tight marking against elite players, good teamwork and calls, sideline supporters, a lovely penalty and of course KATE’S GOAL made it a day to remember.

We even managed to keep awake to watch England in the Harvester 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Sunday was even more special. We entered an Over60s team for the first time and the squad have been training together for this one. Lovely skills on show, great organisation, lots of effort all round, a friendly vibe all day - giving the sideline loads to cheer about. Even some Irish Dancing!

It was hot. 🥵 Very hot. 🥵 But we had a successful end to the Hampshire FA Walking Football League for 25/26 ⚽️.
A great team effort from those on and off the pitch!

This bank holiday weekend we had 2 teams playing at the now legendary Ashbury Women’s Walking Football Tournament 2026. We had a brilliant time ⚽️🎉😎☔️⚽️ The organisers worked their socks off - thank you for all you do. A weekend celebrating women’s walking football is special.

What a brilliant day to finish the 25/26 Dorset County Football Association season at 1610 Dorchester Sports Centre!

Thanks to Sue and Paul who organised the leagues this season, the referees and to all the teams; Eastleigh Walking Football Club, Exeter City Football Club, Lilliput FC Women's Walking Football , Mid Devon Women Walking Football, Swanage and Plymouth Argyle Women's Walking Football.

Our Sparks ⚡️ finished 2nd in Division 1 and Rockets 🚀 3rd in Division 2.

The whole squad have been epic - improving as the season progressed and always making the most with the opportunity to play football.
