This week Iβve been taking things a little slower and making time for/appreciating things that really matter. Sometimes you have to take a step back to allow yourself to grow, and I believe that is what this year is all about ππΈ

Wanted to progress my running so I decided to attempt my first ever weighted run. I didnβt have much of a goal in mind as had never done before but was hoping for sub 30β 5k so very happy with my attempt, especially as it was so hot! Didnβt have a running vest either so just put some light dumbells in my bag π.
Donβt look for excuses, look for challenges ππͺ
Keep progressing, keep working πͺπ

Wishing everyone a wonderful bank holiday weekend π! And although Iβm not in Ibiza, where this photo was taken last summer, Iβm having an equally relaxing time (minus the boat π€π) getting outside and making the most of this gorgeous weather we are so lucky to have at the moment πβοΈ.
It certainly helps keep me sane getting my daily dose of vitamin d and glorious sea air πβοΈ

During this lockdown a lot of us have found we have a lot more time on our hands (excluding our amazing keyworkers obviously). And even if you are working from home youβre not having to commute anywhere thus giving you that time.
So what are you doing with your extra hours?! Being creative & learning a new skill πΈ, studying π€, spending time with your loved ones π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦, focusing on yourself π, or working on your health & fitness πͺ?
Whatever you have decided are you achieving what you have planned? Are you feeling more connected with people? Are you more knowledgeable? Are you feeling fitter or healthier?
Now is the perfect time to work on these or our weaknesses in our lives ππ. Donβt come out of this wishing you had done more and used the time you had. Make sure you are stronger physical and mentally coming out of this with no regrets and having done whatever you possibly could. ππ

The least you want to do something, the more you should!!
Took inspiration from the legend today and did something I absolutely hate... intervals π! I really didnβt want to do it and kept putting it off but feel absolutely amazing now ππ
As much as I used to be a runner, I really do struggle these days but want to take this time to work of my weaknesses and get my 5k time under 25 minutes. So I gave interval session a try, 3 sets of 7mins running at my ideal 5k pace and I absolutely smashed my first 1k with a record π although Iβm not quite sure I could keep that up for 5k just yet but gotta keep trying ππͺ.
Finished off my interval session with a nice stretch, catching up with yoga session from last night... Now thatβs what I call a Good Friday ππ.
