Do you have teenagers and are in midlife? Then congratulations⦠you have hit the hormone jackpot šš
One minute you are managing your own mood swings, brain fog and random tears over a dog food advert. The next, you are navigating teenage eye-rolls, door slams and dramatic life crises.
Some days, I feel like deep breathing should count as an Olympic sport.
How are you getting on with all the ups and downs - yours and your teensā?
My secret weapon is taking a deep breath and reminding myself that we are all doing our best.
Whatās yours???

Yes, I can do hard and fancy poses. But the real challenge is stillness.
Not every challenge is physical. Sometimes the hardest thing is to slow down, sit quietly with your thoughts and simply be.
No distractions.
No noise.
No performing.
Just presence.
What is challenging you at the moment?

If stress had an opposite, I think it might look like this.
The passion flower: calm, intricate, slightly dramatic and impossible to ignore.
Meanwhile most of us are out here surviving on coffee and to-do lists.
Todayās reminder to slow down long enough to notice the beauty around you.

Lately, life has been all about letting go. Decluttering the house, saying goodbye to things I havenāt used in years⦠and even saying goodbye to my long-ish hair.
And honestly? I feel lighter. Clearer. Ready for a new chapter - even if I donāt fully know yet what that chapter will look like.
Sometimes we hold onto things, habits, or old ways of living ājust in caseā. But maybe letting go is exactly what creates space for something new. Space for new ideas, new energy, new opportunities, and maybe even a new version of ourselves.
What about you? Are you holding onto the old, or are you ready for something new?

Sometimes, itās good to break your own rules.
For a few days, I swapped my usual protein-packed breakfasts for croissants, said yes to fried food and didnāt overthink that afternoon drink.
And no⦠nothing ābadā happened.
No sudden health crash. No loss of progress. Just⦠enjoyment š¤©
In fact, something interesting did happen.
I started craving my usual habits again.
The nourishing meals. The movement. The rhythm that makes me feel like me.
Because when you step out of your routine for a moment, you donāt lose it - you see it more clearly.
You realise what actually supports you⦠and what simply adds pressure.
Balance isnāt about doing everything perfectly.
Itās about trusting that a few days of ādifferentā wonāt undo a lifestyle built over time.
Sometimes, the break is the reminder.
What have you recently allowed yourself to enjoy - without guilt?

Have you ever noticed how your body softens the moment you are near the sea?
This is often described as āBlue Mindā - a gently meditative state we slip into when we are in, on or simply near water.
Itās not just āniceā⦠It can help quiet a busy mind, ease stress and bring a sense of clarity we often struggle to find in daily life.
A concept beautifully brought into the spotlight by Dr. Wallace J. Nichols, whose work continues to inspire how we think about water and wellbeing.
š You donāt need hours. Even a few minutes of watching the waves can shift something.
When was the last time you let the water slow you down?
