Ciren Mens 2nd XI 10-0 Devizes
On a cold afternoon the men's 2's started with just the bare eleven players. Early chances were capitalised on and within 10 minutes Ciren were 2-0 up. Some promising play from youngsters Alex and Jonty fed balls to John Partridge who took advantage of a disorganised Devizes defence and scored 2 goals. Short corners worked well and 2 more goals came from them. Felix also created chances on the left with some impressive 3D skills. The half time score was 7-0 and, after the break, Devizes were a better organised team in the second half thwarting the many attempts by the Ciren attack. Ciren produced some fantastic passing and a move from the right had side resulted in some text book play and deserved goal. 2 more were added, the honours spread around the team, with nobody claiming a coveted hattrick!

Ladies 2s were victorius today in a well fought encounter against Colwall & Malvern. Some good defensive play thwarted any Colwall attacks, and the middle and forward combo created lots of chances, not all of which were capitalised on in the first half, but we went into the break 1-0 up. The second half proved more fruitful, with Ciren winning a number of shorts, as well as a flick, which resulted in a 3-0 lead. The final goal, scored by Katie Searle, sealed the Colwall fate and Ciren's 4-0 win move further up the table.
