Big congratulations to this team of legends who all successfully passed their NVBLQ Beach Lifeguard assessments yesterday. Great fun to train and solid assessments all round. Another 11 to add to the roster (think that’s 121 i’ve trained now) well done gang, see you all soon for more training!

End of another day down in The ‘Cawl delivering another NVBLQ. Our 11 candidates actually managed to find some waves today for their rescue board skills. Last days training Saturday before their assessment on Sunday.

This weeks rookies have been working hard, we have 11 on the course until a ‘royal’ lifeguard stopped by to help! (Thanks Ricky!). Praying for some surf for next week end as it’s been flat this week. Still, nice to get on the prone paddleboard after work for a few kms paddle.

Another stunning day in South Wales, this weekend is RLSS NVBLQ time, day 2 for our May course, 11 rookies lifeguards learning the ropes.
We have an NSCLA in Swansea in two weekends time and a one planned for Bournemouth in June. Check our website for more info!

Board rescues, re cap tubes, CPR, adding in the new updates with first aid and cpr and looking at spinals and casualty management.

What a stunning backdrop to our NSCLA course up in North Wales! Some amazing skies and sunsets after a busy day 1 of the course, the water isn’t too cold either and the wind has finally dropped this evening.
We have a busy month with another fully booked NVBLQ starting next weekend, for two weekends in Porthcawl, then another NSCLA course in Swansea at the end of the month and lots of Lifeguard CPD training and updates inbetween for both our Beach Lifeguards, Open water lifeguards and Surf Coaches.
Enquiries coming in for courses in Bournemouth and Scarborough! So a busy season ahead hopefully!
