Only a few photos from today as we had Jennifer Adams - documentary family photographer in taking some photographs for us - we can’t wait to see them 🤩
Thanks for a lovely morning - see you all next week for our last week of term ☺️

We’ve had the privilege of having C volunteer with us in our Cheeky Feet classes for the past few terms. C used to dance in Cheeky Feet with Michele 10 years ago (see photo!) and it’s been so lovely to have her back with us!
It was C’s last class with us this week as she has commitments for the rest of the term including her DofE expedition (good luck!) so we said goodbye and thank you! 🤩
Thank you for the beautiful flowers and card ☺️

📢 Can you help us make school days a little smoother for our children? 🎒
For some of our children, transitioning from the school taxi to the classroom—or moving between different areas around the school—can be a big challenge.
Having specialist buggies on hand makes a world of difference for them! As our school community grows, so does our need for this specialized equipment.
Do you have a specialist buggy that your family no longer needs? If you’d like to donate it to the school, we would be incredibly grateful.
📬 If you think you can help, please send us a direct message or contact the school office at [email protected] Thank you for your amazing support! ❤️

💛 Dance should be for EVERYONE — and we’re so proud to offer inclusive classes designed for children with diagnosed or suspected SEND.
Dance brings so much joy: confidence, friendship, focus, balance and fitness. Our classes are a safe, supportive and creative space where every dancer is celebrated for who they are. ✨
SENsory Movers offers two class options:
🟡 SENsory Movers 1 (Ages 6+)
For children who can join in without a parent/carer and need minimal support.
🔵 SENsory Movers 2 (Ages 3+)
A gentler-paced class for children who benefit from more support and take part with a parent/carer.
Our experienced team have worked with children with a wide range of needs, including autism, Down’s syndrome, cerebral palsy, visual impairments and SEMH needs—both in dance and educational settings. We adapt every class to suit each child and work closely with families to ensure all dancers feel safe, included and valued. 💙
We’d LOVE to dance with you!

We need your help 🙏
Every day, we see the difference inclusive opportunities can make 💛
A child finding a club where they finally feel comfortable.
A parent feeling listened to for the first time.
An organisation gaining confidence to open their doors wider.
So much of our work at Active Impact happens behind the scenes, helping build a Gloucestershire where disabled, neurodivergent and disadvantaged children, young people and families can access opportunities that work for them.
Now we need your help 👇
We have the chance to receive a £5,000 Movement for Good Award from Benefact Group, and every single nomination increases our chances of being selected.
£5,000 could help us continue supporting organisations, families and communities to create more inclusive opportunities across the county.
It only takes a minute to nominate us, and it really could make a huge difference.
🗓 Nominations are open until 24 May
🔗 Nominate here: https://movementforgood.com/health
If Active Impact has ever helped you, supported your organisation, helped you find opportunities or inspired change, we’d be incredibly grateful for your nomination 💛
Please share this post too so we can reach as many people as possible.
