Dear riders and your four-legged friends. Sorry for the silence from our end. Our youngest son crashed into kidney failure and is currently on dialysis. Some of you may remember that we have a condition called Alport Syndrome that impacts hearing, kidneys and eyes. Our riding keeps us going. We hope to restart Cotswold Rides again next year. We wish all our special guests very best wishes and happy riding! Hope to see you soon.

☀️Great going on this guided ride with Mel Tegg and Jill McFarland. Sadly, thanks to climate change, the river has already dried up. The views and canters remain

Loved welcoming Mel Tegg and Jill McFarland back with Porridge and Al for a fabulous guided ride with Cotswold Rides and splash in the stream! Thanks to climate change the spring (and therefore the water) is drying up but ground is magic going!

Victoria Gange-Parry, family and friends booked Cotswold Rides at Eastleach Downs for their annual riding holiday. The men had the massages whilst the women rode in the lovely evening light. They usually go to the New Forrest and had all the camping kit including a paddling pool for the divine puppy who had his own transport on a group ride!

Lovely to welcome Mary Hubert and friend to Cotswold Rides at Eastleach Downs. They travelled all the way from Jersey and were staying in VWH country. The bit of breeze meant the flies weren’t too bad and we had a lovely ride on the grass-covered tracks which provided a bit of cushioning to the hard ground. What a summer we’ve had.

Was a delight to welcome back Wendy S Edwards and friends for a fast and fun group guided ride with Cotswold Rides at Eastleach Downs. They even managed a splosh in the stream, which is sadly dried up for the summer months with the lack of rain. The spring-fed stream is back again in November we hope, climate change allowing.

Cotswold Rides at Eastleach Downs guided 🐎 BHS Gloucestershire 🐎groups today to raise funds for Ride Out U.K. 🇬🇧 the charity that restores and maintains bridle paths, enabling riders to access the countryside. 🌿🌾🌸 Many thanks to the lovely riders who came and particularly to Sue Russell for her excellent organisation and Jake Bromley Fowles for finding a saddle that fitted for one poor rider who arrived without one. 😲 We’ve all been there… 🤪 Devine puppy Tatty 🐶 kept us entertained!
