I talk a lot in my coaching about perception being very subjective. So when you and I look at the same thing, we have no way of knowing if we're seeing exactly the same colour, because we're differing beings, with different eyes 👀 different 🧠 brains, ideas and beliefs 🤔 about what something actually is.

This just takes few seconds - see where you come on the scale? I am right on the median, no surprise perhaps as I work with colour every day.

2004, north London... 💭

I vividly remember the excited feeling when I saw the right colours by my face which seemed to light me up and my eyes seemed a little bit more green and bright.

I recall the boost of confidence it gave me to stop wearing dull, lifeless, dark shades and embrace my new best colours.

Something clicked and it changed the way I felt about dressing, clothes shopping and how I presented myself - for myself, rather than for anyone else.

As sense of being my truer self. I now help other mid-life women do the same.

As a reminder, this auction is raising funds on behalf of the Ju/’Hoansi tribe in the Nyae Nyae Conservancy in the Kalahari Desert, to support existing, long term, San-led projects on the ground there. As you know I’ve just returned from the Kalahari where I am involved with a longer term programme working in partnership with the Ju/’Hoansi. Having been deeply moved by the work they are doing, and the challenges they are facing, I decided to run this fundraiser in response to them specifically asking for some financial help to support their projects.
