5 truths about me 💜

1️⃣ Motherhood has changed my body in ways I didn’t expect.
Between carrying little ones on one hip, breastfeeding, and all the bending, lifting, and cuddling that comes with parenting, I’m definitely not as mobile as I used to be only a few years ago.

2️⃣ I miss my own yoga practice. 🧘‍♀️
As a yoga teacher, people often assume I practice every day. The reality? Finding time for my own asana practice is much harder with two children who think a yoga mat is an invitation to climb all over me!

3️⃣ I was definitely born in the wrong country. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
I may be pale, and I love being a Scot but my soul belongs somewhere warm and sunny. Give me blue skies and sunshine over cold weather any day! ☀️ (and I hate Irn Bru, sorry) 😂🤭

4️⃣Before teaching yoga, I spent almost 20 years working in hospitality. 🍽️✈️
It was my ticket to adventure—I’d work hard, save up for a backpacking trip, then come home and do it all over again. Some of my best memories come from the places I explored and the people I met along the way.

5️⃣ Food is one of my greatest joys.
My ideal holiday isn’t just about the destination—it’s about discovering new foods, flavours, and places to eat. Trying something I’ve never tasted before is one of my favourite things! 🍜

Now it’s your turn! Tell me one fun fact about yourself below 👇 💜

☀️ Summer Friend Offer ☀️

Maternity leave (and parenthood in general!) is so much better with good company. Throughout July and August, every booked mum or dad can bring along a parent friend completely FREE. If you'd rather bring your partner along for a bit of extra support, that's absolutely fine too. 💕

Join us for a relaxed session of movement, stretching and connection while your babies stay right beside you, or wander nearby! No pressure, no judgement! Feeding, cuddles and nappy changes are all welcome, and if your wee one is mobile, there’s toys and books available for them to discover 🧸

As my business grows, I'd love to help grow our local parent community as well. These classes are about more than movement – they're a chance to meet other parents, have a chat, and get out of the house with your little one.

A few details:
👉Your friend must be brand new to my classes.
👉Once you've booked your place, just email or text me their name and I'll add them to the class.

I can't wait to welcome some new faces this summer!

Class runs on Thursdays and Fridays

The honest truth about teaching yoga…

I don’t teach yoga because it’s a lucrative career.

In fact, if money was my main goal, I’d probably be doing something else.

I teach yoga because it allows me to build my work around my children rather than fitting them around my work.

It means I get to spend weekdays with them, witness the little milestones, and be present for this season of life that passes so quickly. 💕

Of course I love yoga. I love the movement, the community, and watching people leave class feeling lighter than when they arrived.

But what I’m most grateful for is that every person who comes to class helps me continue creating a life where I can be both a mum and a business owner.

So if you’ve ever joined one of my classes, shared a post, recommended me to a friend, or simply cheered me on, thank you. It means more than you probably realise. 💜

✨ Happy International Yoga Day ✨

If you’re a parent, what’s one thing you’ve changed in your career or life to be able to spend more time with your wee ones?

Mums… if your week currently looks like:
☕ reheating the same coffee 4 times
🧸 stepping over tiny toys like an obstacle course
🍎 surviving on toddler leftovers
😅 and wondering if sitting down counts as self-care…

…this is your sign 💛

Come and join us for Mummy Yoga 🧘‍♀️👶
A gentle space to move, stretch, breathe, meet other mums, and have a little moment that belongs to you (even if babies have other plans 😆).

No need to be “good at yoga”.
No need for matching outfits.
No pressure if baby cries, feeds, sleeps, wriggles, or wants centre stage
