Hope everyone had a lovely summer! Judo returns for all tonight:

New starters welcome!

For those returning to Judo and have NOT got a BJA licence, please go to the link below to get one. This process is quick and easy, and is essential for insurance and grading purposes. This is applicable to both our Junior and Senior members:

* 16 & 17 years or 18+ in full time education, relevant ID will be requested for Students/Military/Blue Light tiers to activate the membership.

There is NO session tonight. A mix of the heat and the football has meant we cannot run the session. We return to normal next week.

Two brilliant sessions last night!

Juniors continued working on their breakfalls, followed by a refresher of O-Soto-toshi and O-Soto-gari, and putting this into uchi-komi. Following this, they moved into ne-waza, with a focus on kesa-gatame!

Lovely to welcome two new seniors last night! Working on De-ashi-barai and ko-uchi-gari, then putting these into combinations.

Well Done to Neekhil, Craig, Emily and Alex from Colchester Judo Club who travelled to Bishop Stortford for the NHC Area Training!

Good rounds of nage-komi and plenty of tachi-waza and ne-waza! Well done all! 🥋💪

Wow! Two busy and fantastic lessons last night!

Juniors were working on their Ukemi (breakfalls), as well as O-Soto-Gari and O-Soto- toshi, finishing off with a game of bulldog

Seniors focused on uchi-komi, nage-komi and refreshing on some basics. Followed by some free time to work on their own stuff and a quick look at a Maki-komi variation!
