Aussie Rules on the Common! Join us at training on Saturday/Sunday until we change to Tuesday/Thursday once the clocks change on Clapham Common Northside.

The Dees are a large Aussie Rules club in south London. Three men's teams and two women's team play matches throughout the summer. Weekly training, trips to Europe, plenty of social occasions, a sister netball club, and a ready made community in London. You couldn't ask for more!

We’re at home again this Saturday for FIVE games on the Common! 🔥

These are our favourite days of the year when all our Demons teams get to play together, so we hope to see as many of you out and about on Saturday as possible!

Days of footy on the Common require a lot of helpers, so if you’re keen to get involved in any capacity, please reach out!

Go Dees ❤️💙

It was a cracking day of footy on the Common yesterday, with our Men’s Socials and Women’s Prems teams running out winners. The Swans were too good in the Men’s Conference, and unfortunately the Women’s Conference game didn’t go ahead.

We wore our Indigenous guernseys for this round to raise money and awareness for the Waalitj Foundation, a charity that empowers First Nations people in Australia through education, employment and business. It’s an honour to be able to don these guernseys and represent the vast cultures and backgrounds that our players come from.

Thank you to all who came out and participated or helped throughout the day, footy on the Common doesn’t happen without all of you! 🙌

🚨Round 3🚨 Footy is back on the Common!

This Saturday we are hosting the across four grades, kicking off with Women’s Conference at 10am.

It will also be our Indigenous Round, with all Demons teams wearing Indigenous guernseys and funds raised via the bar and raffle being donated to charity.

It’s looking to be a cracking day with a forecast of 20 degrees, so dust off those picnic blankets, sunscreen and hats, and don’t forget your wallets to help us raise money for a worthy cause!

Clapham Common is the place to be this week - we’ll see you there tonight, Thursday and Saturday!

If you’re new and keen to get involved, come down to training for a kick. Whether you’ve been in London a week, a year or your whole life, played footy a little, a lot or not at all - all experience levels are welcome!

Then Saturday we have our first home games of season 2026 where we’ll be rocking our Indigenous guernseys for a good cause. Keep an eye out for more details on that this week!

Go Dees ❤️💙

Round 2 in the books ✅

Meanwhile over in France yesterday we had 8 Demons participating in the Anzac Cup!

The Anzac Cup is an AFL Europe showcase match between Australia and France held on Anzac Day each year in the French town of Villers-Bretonneux. The match honours those Australians who fought to reclaim the town from German occupancy on the night of April 24th, 1918, in a victory that was described as the turning point in the war by Sir John Monash.

Playing for Australia we had Cass, Alex, Liz, Jess K, Jess C and Matt, while Pres Jade coached the Australian women's team. And on the French side we had Ben playing in the men's team. The Aussie girls won their game convincingly, while the French men's team beat the Aussies.

A spectacular day to honour those who served. Lest we forget.

It was AFL London Round 2, but our first games for 2026 after the club bye last weekend.

The Prems girls got the W down in Sussex, while we had some great games up in North London but ultimately couldn't get the wins on the board.

A cracking day of footy to dust off the cobwebs - bring on the rest of the season!

And to help you get hyped for our first round of footy, here’s some inspiration from our European Champions last weekend 🔥
