Huge congratulations to Andrew Isaacs (Long Sutton) for claiming the prestigious Hawkins Trophy for a remarkable third time with a dominant 6-shot victory! 👏
​Shoutout to Rob Withers for storming through the field with a nett 67 to take home the George Piercy Trophy. Sam Hughes put up a great fight (including a personal best nett 65!), taking 2nd place, followed by Russell Angel.
​A massive thank you to everyone who played—taking on 36 holes around Clevedon in the intense heat was no easy feat!

History has been made at Clevedon Golf Club - a massive congratulations to Steve Lawrence in his 49th year of membership who has achieved a double Championship this summer. Steve faced an elite field in the Men's Club Championship with an impressive two day score of 149 (+5) remarkably repeating what he achieved 20 years ago - and then took the seniors title with a score of 153 (+9) in the most spectacular fashion - to win back to back events which has never been done before - a legendary performance - congratulations Steve!

2026 PGA Professional Championship winner :...In an incredible display of skill and nerves of steel, our very own Ashley Mansell has officially secured the biggest win of his career in the PGA Professional Championship played at Slaley Hall thereby securing his spot on the global stage, qualifying for the prestigious BMW PGA Championship on the DP World Tour. This is a monumental milestone for Ashley and a deeply proud moment for everyone who has watched him work tirelessly for this breakthrough.

The BMW PGA Championship (held at Wentworth in September) is a Rolex Series event—one of the absolute crown jewels of European golf.

Ash will be playing on the exact turf, under the same pressure, alongside global superstars and Ryder Cup legends! He is the "local hero" taking on the world's best.

In addition Ash will also represent GB&I in the PGA Cup matches at The K Club, Ireland at the beginning of October.

Golfing success doesn't happen overnight. This is achieved as a result of his consistency in regional PGA events, his dedication to his game, and how this moment is the culmination of years of early mornings and relentless practice.

Winners! First game of the season for the Men's 1st Team back in Division 1 of the Bristol and District League.
