The Waddow Shop is open when residential groups and school visits are on site! 🥤🍦🍫

Whether it's a break between activities, some downtime with friends, or a well-earned treat after a busy day, guests can enjoy hot and cold drinks, sweet treats and other quick snacks from our on-site shop.

Please note: the shop is not open to the public on a permanent basis and only operates during selected residential stays and group visits.

Looking to earn some quick money? We are urgently seeking freelance outdoor activity staff for day work on 05/06/2026. Immediate opportunity with excellent rates available.

Pay: From £165 per day (dependent on qualifications & experience)

Preferred Requirements:

Qualifications in at least two outdoor disciplines (e.g. paddle sports, climbing, archery)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good understanding of health & safety and safeguarding
Valid First Aid qualification (Outdoor First Aid preferred)
Enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one

Full UK driving license and access to transport

Perfect for instructors, freelancers, students, or anyone qualified and looking for well-paid day work at short notice.
