We’re looking forward to being back at St Mary’s Centre this Saturday as our cast takes to the stage for rehearsal. It’s always an exciting milestone and another step closer to bringing ‘Peter Pan - The Ballet’ to life! 🤩🧚🏼

We are delighted to announce the launch of our brand new Acting Classes this September with Oliver 🌟🎭

Open to students aged 5+, these engaging classes will help develop confidence, creativity, communication and performance skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Students will also have the opportunity to work towards both LAMDA and IDTA examinations, making these classes perfect for anyone who loves performing and wants to develop their skills further.

Many of our students will already know Oliver from our recent Peter Pan rehearsals. Having been part of the Ribble Valley Dance family for many years, as both a student and now a teacher, he brings a wealth of experience, enthusiasm and passion to every class. 🤩

Today marked our first full rehearsal of Peter Pan from start to finish, and we’re so pleased with how it went! ✨

It was a real milestone as we began piecing the full production together, and we couldn’t be prouder of our students. The focus, enthusiasm, patience and excellent behaviour shown throughout the rehearsal was amazing.

Thank you to all our wonderful parents and families for your continued support. From getting students to rehearsals on time to helping them stay organised and prepared, productions like this are truly a team effort.

A limited number of one-to-one and semi-private sessions will be available ahead of our upcoming IDTA examinations.

These sessions are a fantastic opportunity for students to build confidence, refine technique, receive individual feedback and feel fully prepared to showcase all of their hard work on exam day. Each session will provide personalised support in a positive and encouraging environment.

We’re back in the studio this week and what a brilliant start it has been. Our adult tap and jazz classes tonight have been fab! 🤩

As we head into the final half term of the school year, there is so much to look forward to. The countdown to our Junior Show is well and truly on, with just three weeks to go until show day. We also have two exam sessions coming up and plenty more exciting things still to come as we build towards summer.

From first read-throughs to full character development, it’s incredible watching our cast bring Peter Pan – The Ballet to life ✨🧚🏼

Throughout rehearsals, we’ve seen confidence grow, friendships form, and characters truly begin to shine. Our production team has loved seeing the cast work so thoughtfully with their scripts, support one another, and throw themselves fully into the storytelling process.

There’s such a special energy in the studio right now; excitement, teamwork, creativity, and so much passion for the production ahead 🎭

Over the next few weeks, we can’t wait to continue bringing everything together with our dancers as the world of Neverland continues to evolve in rehearsals.
