We’re introducing Adult Ballet Progression, a class for adults aged 18+ with previous ballet experience around Grade 4/5 level.

Whether you danced years ago or have been looking for the right opportunity to get back into class, this will be a welcoming space to rebuild technique, regain confidence and enjoy ballet again. ✨

Starting a new dance class can feel like a big step, whatever your age. 🩰

You might have been looking forward to it for weeks, feel a little nervous walking through the door, or be somewhere in between.

At Ribble Valley Dance, we’ve welcomed many new students over the years, from those taking their very first dance class to those returning after time away. One thing we’ve learnt is that there’s no perfect way to begin. 🌟

You don’t need to arrive feeling completely confident or knowing exactly what to expect. Sometimes, turning up and giving it a go is more than enough for that first class.

And you might just surprise yourself. 💙

Something new is coming for the littlest dancers out there… 🩰✨

There’s been something exciting in the works behind the scenes at Ribble Valley Dance.

Introducing Grown-Up & Me Ballet, a lovely first introduction to ballet, movement and music for little ones, with their grown-up right there beside them. 💖

Our first 6-week course begins on Monday 14th September 1.30–2.15pm.

A gentle, welcoming way to explore movement, build confidence and enjoy some special time dancing together.

We’re excited to announce a brand new uniform for our Intermediate and Advanced 1 Ballet dancers. 🩰

The new uniform will be introduced from the Autumn Term and is available to order now via the Ribble Valley Dance website.

Drama Classes are coming to Ribble Valley Dance this September! 🎭

We’re excited to welcome students aged 5+ to our brand new Drama Classes, where they’ll have the opportunity to explore creativity, build confidence and develop communication and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Led by Mr Oliver, who recently worked alongside our cast during our production of Peter Pan, classes will include games, storytelling, improvisation and performance activities, helping students develop confidence, self-expression and valuable skills for life.

Students will also have the opportunity to work towards nationally recognised LAMDA and IDTA examinations.

There's nothing quite like bringing a story to life. 🎭

From stepping into the shoes of a new character to exploring different emotions and letting your imagination run free, acting is a wonderful way to build confidence, creativity and communication skills in a fun and supportive environment.

We're so excited to be introducing Acting classes to Ribble Valley Dance this September with Mr. Oliver. 🤩

Whether your child dreams of performing on stage or is simply looking for a new way to express themselves, our Acting classes will encourage them to grow in confidence, make new friends and discover the joy of storytelling.
