Kirk Cattermole was Racing at Knockhill in Scotland this weekend
We had four practice sessions on the Friday afternoon
In the first session the gremlins appeared straight away and suffered a damaged piston due to a plug tip coming off.
The second session after cleaning the piston up we then had to contend with a big end breaking
Overnight for the free practice, Qualifying and first race we changed engines to use an Engine on loan to us from Sam Harrison
Whilst dad stripped the crank out of one engine into another to give us another spare engine.
Free practice went well on wet tyres.
Qualifying we were back on to well used slicks
And managed to put it on pole
Race 1
Lead the race from lights to the chequered flag
Race 2
Changed engine on to the overnight rebuilt one and had another lead from lights to flag victory
Race 3
Was struggling with slight understeer due to being on the well used slicks all weekend, unfortunately the race was red flagged but was leading the pack of 250 monos so had a hat trick of three wins out of three
Congratulations to Arran Maile and Ben Arden for there podium finish,
So we had a top weekend at Knockhill
Coming away with Maximum points in the 250 mono and mono cup championships
I hope the drivers were ok after the red flag incident
And special thanks to Sam again for loan of the engine
