From Kettlewell we head over the bridge, and take the track which contours beyond Moor End, then climb via the footpath to the top, continue NW along the ridge to Old Cote Moor Top on Firth Fell. When we meet the Litton to Buckden track we descend NE via Birks Fell towards Buckden village. The Dales Way then takes us along the Wharf back to the start.
