Our senior teams had a final weekend to remember with both sides recording winds to cap off a widely successful season in their leagues.

The 1st XI's place in next year's Premiership One was already assured however a six-wicket victory over Prestwick added some gloss. Mohsin Khan was back in from with returns of 4-9 while Chathuranga Kumara notched 3-20. Chasing 78, Abid Khan was the highest scorer with 27 runs. As it stands (with appeals ongoing), we'll welcome Kilmarnock and Uddingston back to the top division in 2027, while Kelburne and Renfrew are the sides dropping down.

The 2nd XI went into Saturday with an outside chance of securing third place in the Championship One standings if results went their way, and they certainly did. A good performance with the ball restricted their visitors, Prestwick, to 172 with Rahman Ali sending down a trademarkedly quick spell to grab 4-22. Chameera Jayasundara and Muhammad Zubair added yet another 50-stand for their first wicket, while Muhammad Nadeem was unbeaten on 60 to guide the team home. Kelburne's win over Clydesdale for the loss of only four wickets meant the 2nd XI leapfrogged the Titwood men into third place marking a fantastic season for Fraser Hamilton's team.

We are back on the double double trail after both sides secured impressive victories over West of Scotland.

Batting first at Langloan, the 1st XI were restricted to 141, Chathuranga Kumara top scoring with 34. The visitors found themselves favourites at 94-4 before a collapse saw them bowled out for 109. Kumara did the damage with ball, picking up five wickets for 29, while Daiwik Kumara also notched 3-18 from his seven overs.

The 2nd XI also batted first in Partick and set 227 to win. Mandeep Singh's 39 from 30 balls the highlight, with Hassan Azhar also managing 35. West sit above Langloan in the Championship One standings but wasn't evident as Drumps rolled the hosts for 156 with the target never looking in danger. Anmol Sidhu (3-8) continued his form with the ball, ably supported by Jaleel Cheema (2-14) and Francis Berryman (2-27).

It's on to the final week of the season next week, with the 1st XI travelling to Prestwick while the 2nd XI are at home in the reverse fixture.
