Number 1 might seem obvious but you’d be amazed how many times I hear a week that people just do nothing in protest 🤣
1. Accept that it’s going to happen & actually build a plan around it.
Protest behaviours like just sitting on the sofa ain’t gonna get us no where. you’ll feel worse. Facts.
2. Build your plan around what makes you feel accomplished, happy, empowered.
Small tasks like a bedtime routine, a walk at a certain time everyday to keep you in routine, jammies laid out in the am.
3. Habit hack these - how can you incorporate these in with habits already there - wake up, make the bed then put your jammies for that night in them.
Hydrate before you caffeinate (or w**e 🍷), glass sits out beside the kettle or w**e bottle - we drink one of the good for us stuff before we have a good to us drink.
4. If it takes less than 30 seconds do it now, don’t put off tomorrow what you can literally get done today.
5. For the days your mind is really working against you, start something even for 5 minutes - the exercise, the dinner, the water, the steps, the sleep routine. Just start it & commit to it for 5 minutes, if you then want to stop then stop. But the likelihood is once you’ve started, you’ll want to do that little bit more.
Small steps + consistent action = big results
