Clann Campbell Irish Dance

Such a great day the the Falkirk feis yesterday.
Lots of firsts and not just prizes.
First time wearing a solo dress and dancing open for Haleigh, first time in intermediate for Daisy, first feis ever for Anna Maria and Michelle, first time dancing slip jig for Jessie Mae, Caragh and Haleigh, first feis with no meltdown from Eilidh 😁😁 (just kidding).

Everyone danced amazingly well and we have some great results, and some we'll try and build on. Onwards and upwards.

ELLIE - 1st in u7 Reel, and grading up to primary 🥇
JESSIE MAE - 1st in u9 Single Jig and grading up to primary 🥇
CARAGH - 1st in u10 Reel and grading up to primary 🥇
RUBY - 1st u12 Light Jig and grading up to intermediate 🥇
MICHELLE - 1st in adult Single Jig and grading up to primary 🥇

A couple of real characters are our dancers of the week this week.
Both full of fun and joy, but when they concentrate, both have real potential.
Emily has been working really hard to iron out all the wee niggly mistakes to perfect her dances and is looking good, meanwhile Clementine is getting ready for the feis this weekend, trying out full dances for the first time. Good luck girls, and keep working hard.

Dancer of the week this week is Haleigh.
Such a hard worker, but trying extra hard recently to learn new steps after breaking through into intermediate for most dances.

Good luck to our six stars from St Bernard's Primary today, dancing in their school St Patrick's day celebrations. Hope someone manages a wee photo.

Late with our dancers of the week as I was on holiday, but Eilidh couldn't speak any more highly of these two girls. Matilda coming on in the wee line, and nearly feis ready, and Ruby from the big class pushing herself with harder material.

Sylvia - our youngest dancer once again winning the trophy for the wee line. Concentration really improving and that first dance starting to piece together. Great achievement for a 3 year old!
From the big line - Jessie Mae. What a memory for steps this girl has. Working hard on her corrections, and trying to muster up the confidence to match her talent. You can do it!
