Sending our board kits to Hawaii, Europe, Australia, California and Portugal, makes me a little proud 😃. The hard work is paying off, the eco ethos is not waisted on such a caring surfer community.

Step 11
Rails...
Polyurethane Glue, why?
We pride ourselves on producing a recyclable product made from EU sustainable resources.
So why polyurethane?
It's actually recyclable!
During my studies in Architecture, I looked into the real possibility of creating a fully recyclable house.
Turns out the Romans came up with that one 2000 years ago!
But yes, unlike Resins, it's recyclable!

Be smart

Step 5.
Using your line, edge of your workbench or a straight edge.
Paper tape your Rocker Stringer down, then glue and cover with a scrap of wood.
After the Rocker, do the same with the Stringer (spine) of your board.
Line the Stringer up with the Rocker Stringer for perfect alignment!
Place a piece of paper tape between the joins so they don't get glued together.
Grab your Rails and do the same. Make sure the join is snug, but don't align them with the other parts, as they are not quite the same shape.
Make sure everything is strapped in place with paper tape.
Grab a glass of something cool!
You will soon be surfing a sustainable surfboard, from DIYSurfboards.
