I often get asked why I place so much importance on the breath in my Pilates classes.
After all, we breathe all day without thinking about it... so why do I keep reminding everyone when to inhale and exhale?
Because the way you breathe has a huge impact on the way you move.
When we connect the breath to each movement, we create better core support, improve stability, release unnecessary tension and move with greater ease and control.
For me, breath is what transforms Pilates from simply exercising into a mindful movement practice. It helps you become more aware of your body, stay present and often achieve movements that feel impossible when you're holding your breath.
Whether you're on the mat, the Reformer, Wunda Chair or Cadillac, your breath is just as important as the movement itself.
Joseph Pilates said, "Above all, learn how to breathe correctly." I couldn't agree more.
Next time you're in one of my classes, notice how often I cue the breath. There's a reason for it, and I hope you'll begin to feel the difference for yourself. 💛

The journey inward isn't about becoming more. It's about gently letting go of everything that keeps you from recognising what has always been there.
Śakti Sāhanā - 200hr Foundational Ta**ra Yoga Teacher training. September 2026.
At the heart of Śakti Sādhanā is a simple invitation:
To pause. To listen. To study. To practice.
Rooted in the Himalayan Tradition, this training offers a space to explore the teachings of Yoga, Ta**ra, and Sankhya, not only as philosophies to understand, but as wisdom to live.
A year of practice. A lifetime of discovery.
The entire universe is nothing but a pattern of vibrations.
Most people know sound healing can soothe a busy mind. But when we look through the lens of Himalayan Ta**ra, sound becomes a vehicle for deep soul awakening.
In my upcoming sound healing immersion, we bridge the resonance of sacred instruments with the transformative power of ancient Mantras.
We don't just clear stress; we actively weave new, high-vibrational energy into your mind, body, and spirit.
No experience needed. Just a willingness to lay down, listen, and let the primordial sound of the Himalayas do the work.
Nestled in the beautiful Norfolk countryside, this stunning venue provides the perfect setting to slow down, reconnect, and immerse yourself in a deeply restorative experience.
is hosting a beautiful retreat in this gorgeous space and I feel humbled to be able to hold space for those attending through my offerings.
During the Sound Journey, you'll be guided into a state of deep relaxation through the healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls and other therapeutic instruments, creating space for rest, reflection, and renewal.
Whether you're seeking calm, clarity, or simply time to recharge, I can't imagine a more beautiful place to experience it.
Only a few spaces available. If you would like to know more please reach out.
I look forward to sharing this special journey with you. 💚

🕉 Mantra is more than sound it’s rhythm repetition and focus working together to steady the mind.
In a sound bath mantra helps regulate breath settle the nervous system and give the mind something simple to return to.
Over time that repetition can reduce mental noise and support deeper rest.
Drawing from a Himalayan ta***ic yoga background I use mantra as a practical tool layered with instruments to create a consistent grounding field of sound.
Nothing forced no need to perform just listening breathing and letting the body respond.
Expect a slower heart rate softer muscle tension and a clearer head by the end.
A simple reset guided by sound 🧘♀️🕉🙏

There’s something about creating space for people to slow down, step out of their usual pace, and just be; without needing to achieve anything.
The Wellness Retrear was everything I hoped it would be.
A calm, steady day of movement, breath, rest, and time by the sea. Nothing rushed, nothing forced.
What stood out most wasn’t any one part of the day, but the feeling in the room — people settling, softening, reconnecting… and allowing themselves to receive.
It’s a privilege to hold space like that.
And to share it with such a lovely group of people made it even more special.
Thank you to everyone who came ❤️
