There are five main coaching services that are central to our support in the community. We deliver a wide range of sustainable multi sports provision packages that not only mentor and develop school staff but engage and enhance pupil’s participation in physical activity across Essex. Our extensive Holiday Camp programme offers parents across Essex a regular opportunity to give their child a fantastic childcare experience in a safe, affordable and enjoyable sporting environment. The football specific coaching opportunities that we offer range from our Academy programme for players with ambition, talent and potential, our 1-2-1 coaching sessions for players of all abilities aimed at supporting their technical development and our football centre programme aimed at introducing children to the sport in a fun and friendly environment.

Wired For Movement is not simply about encouraging children to be more active.

The programme includes more than 170 fun, targeted movement games, each carefully designed to support specific areas of children’s neurodevelopment and emotional wellbeing.

Through small group intervention sessions, children can take part in games that support ⤵️

✅ Sensory processing
✅ Emotional regulation
✅ Physical skills
✅ Focus and attention
✅ Social interaction and communication

The activities are fun and engaging, but behind every game is a specialised combination of movements designed to strengthen the connections between the brain and body.

Over time, this can help children feel calmer, more confident and better prepared to participate in PE, learning and wider school life.

If you can see how this programme could support pupils within your school, register your interest via the link below 👇🏽

⚽ IPSWICH TOWN FIXTURE 🔵⚪

A brilliant experience for our U10s as they visited Ipswich Town for an academy fixture! 🙌

The evening gave the players another valuable opportunity to test themselves, learn through match play and gain exposure to a professional football environment.

Experiences like these are a huge part of their development, giving players the chance to challenge themselves, build confidence and take their learning back into our Essex Select Academy sessions. 💪⚽

A big well done to all of the players involved and thank you to Ipswich Town for having us! 👏

🎥 What did our team take away from the Wired For Movement training?

Maria shares how the training has encouraged her to think differently about how activities are delivered, including reducing unnecessary cognitive load and recognising that effective sessions don’t need lots of equipment or complicated exercises. 🙌

Small changes to the way we coach can help create an environment where more children can participate, enjoy movement and experience success. 💙

Our partnership with Wired For Movement will see EPC deliver targeted small-group intervention sessions within primary schools, helping children feel confident, included and successful in PE. 🤲🏽
