Battle Of The Gods

Due to the large expansion of our indoor competitions in 2015, our events team have decided to miss a year in 2016 for the Battle of the Gods to ensure both our indoor competitions continue their maximum development.

We would like to thank everyone once again for being involved in 2015 and we will post up further event info for 2017 later on next year.

We also want to thank every single person who attended this years finals from the athletes taking part, the spectators that travelled far and wide & to all the team behind the scenes, your support, mentality & general understanding to some extremely testing weather conditions has left us speechless, this once again highlights just how special our sport is and the people that are involved!

Its looking very likely to be another cracking day for weather tomorrow so make sure you come prepared and bring the following with you:

Battle of the Gods Check List:
1: Gazebo for shelter against the burning sun!!!
2: Loads of Sun Cream!
3: Blankets to sit on!
4: Spare change of clothing should you get wet during WOD3....
&
5: Make sure all spectators coming with you have their SPECTATOR TICKETS to hand, £15 entrance without them.

*Also we just wanted to remind you that Wolverson will be selling some of the kit being used after tomorrows finals so please contact them for a full price list, or simply visit their stand on the day!

Congratulations once again for making this years Battle of the Gods finals, we hope your all prepared and excited for this weekends event?

Below is a few key things to remember to bring with you for this years event and be prepared for anything and everything come r**n or shine!!!

Athlete Check List:
1: Gazebo for shelter against the burning sun or any other weather!!!
2: Spare change of clothing should you get wet during WOD3....
3: Sun cream!
4: Any personal equipment you may need including your speed ropes!
4: Make sure all spectators coming with you have their printed TICKETS to hand.

*There will be plenty of food & drink available at the venue serving hot dishes, cold foods, water & of course COFFEE!

7am - 7:30am
* Your team must BOTH be present when registering otherwise you will not be issued your entry passes into the venue!

5pm Trophy Presentation


Upon arrival competitors will be issued with an athlete wrist band to wear throughout the event which will allow access to the venue, warm up area and competition floor. Athletes will also receive their 2015 BATTLE OF THE GODS personalised athlete t-shirt upon arrival too!

Please note that Athletes & Spectators will NOT be allowed to bring their own BBQ's into the venue, this is due to exclusive vendors attending this years finals serving cooked foods.

Dogs are allowed at the venue however these must stay inside the main event area due to the onsite bird breading program this is currently active at the venue.

Due to health & safety all dogs must also stay on leads due to the Archery in this years finals......

And please make sure you bring some doggy bags with you to clean up after your best friend too!!!

Further Information:

1: COACHES PASS
Each team will be issued 1 FREE coaches pass which will allow them into the warm up area with you. Your coach will still need to purchase a spectator pass to gain access to the venue as normal but can then simply claim their free coaches pass upon arrive at reception, this is strictly 1 coach per team and once this has been claimed they cannot be changed.

2: PARKING
All athletes & spectators will receive FREE parking into the venue on the day.

3: WEIGHT OF BARS
We can confirm that the men will be using 28mm 20kg bars & the females will be using 25mm 15kg bars during the finals.

4: FOOD
There will be plenty of fresh food (hot & cold) and drinks available throughout the day!!!

5: WEATHER PROTECTION
This is an outdoor event and therefore please make sure you bring suitable clothing. We also highly recommend wearing sun cream throughout the day and please bringing a gazebo for shelter against all weathers.
