I am a level 4 personal trainer, specialising in injury, back pain, pre/post natal, obesity and diabetes with exercising. I have a home gym that clients can come to if they wish something more private. I also work out of Sports Direct Fitness in Colchester and if you are a member there I can work with you whenever you like. I am not a personal trainer that likes to beast their clients until they cant move - but you will work all your muscles and get that body functioning in the way its meant to.

And now the European breakfast makes sense
I’ve been having a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar before my food to bring blood sugar down before eating - this helps keep your insulin under control and helps maintain a healthy weight.
This morning for breakfast I started with a salad and drizzled balsamic vinegar over it - I then had my fruit in a stunning açai bowl and finished with some toast and jam - not feeling an after breakfast drop as hopefully the salad and vinegar will have lowered the blood sugar so that the rise isn’t massively significant enough to then have a large drop.
Hoping to use this week as a way to eat even healthier and bring home some new ideas
Just had one of my lovely clients deadlift 10kg for first time ever - gone from coming to my chair Pilates to full on bar deadlifting
She should be beaming from ear to ear - well done Lynda x

Small changes to lifestyle and diet will make the difference
3 things I have adopted over the last 3 weeks
1. Walking no less than 10k steps every day - if I notice the steps are low I’ll get moving
2. Not eating anything else after my last meal at about 7.30 so that my insulin drops and doesn’t spike before bed
3. Exercising in the gym at least twice a week (no less) lifting free weights (shoulder is allowing me to lift)
I have also been reading a book recommended by a client that has made me think a lot about insulin spikes and how it affects weight gain and have just changed a few things around (look for the glucose goddess on Instagram) in regards to good timing
All in all half a stone off in 3 weeks. Well pleased.
No dramatic running miles because I think I should for weight loss - no going to gym classes everyday and definitely no starving myself.
Personally I think the biggest change that has helped is the steps as I have averaged about 12k everyday and I was noway doing that - about 6-7k - the not eating late is also helping me sleep heavy so I’m not tired and eating rubbish during the day to keep me awake.
So guys - make that one or two small changes and you will notice the difference - I know it - you know it - you just got to do it

When I want to chill and switch off - I make jewellery - anyone that knows me knows miracle beads are my favourite - and as I had some left over and some thick elastic - I made this anklet - the charm represents pilates to me as in the ‘pelvic compass’ it’s sooo pretty

Healthy dinner - I love summer and summer food - so much healthier - new dip made with fage 0 fat - feta cheese - lemon zest and juice - sprinkle of garlic salt and topped with roasted chick peas (cooked in chilli oil, paprika, garlic salt and oregano) - it’s the best
