Bollywood Dance Classes Jaymini's dance workshops are centred around the popular and energetic Bollywood style of dance. BOLLYWOOD DANCE CLASSES at Myland Parish Hall, Monday's 6-7pm.

Jaymini's dance workshops are centred around the popular and energetic Bollywood style of dance, also involving elements of Bharatanatyam and traditional Indian folk dance. They are an environment to learn, exercise – and most importantly to have fun! Jaymini has always had a passion for dance and a desire to share her ability and inspire others. She is trained in Bharatanatyam (classical Indian dance) and has held dance workshops in numerous schools, universities and communities around the country. Jaymini loves the experience, and the feedback from those involved has always been very positive. Jaymini offers workshops and performances for schools, providing for the curriculum regarding SMSC. She is also available to teach workshops and perform at public events such as festivals and community events.

WOW!!! What a brilliant couple of days for Chai Mixers 🤩 from the calm, reflective Joyful Yoga session led by Smita Mishra on Friday, to the upbeat, energetic dance extravaganza led by Garba dancer Krupa and Bhangra dancer Preet on Saturday - there was something for everyone to enjoy!

Learn about the history and health benefits of yoga with local expert Smita Mishra. Whether you would like to listen and watch or join in with the breathing exercises and gentle stretches, no prior yoga experience or flexibility is needed to take part in this event - you can even join in when seated on a chair!

When booking, please inform us if you are able to bring a yoga mat of your own.

Following the talk and interactive demonstration, there will be delicious refreshments provided by and masala chai, of course!

WOW! What an incredible kick-off to our first ever Chai Makes event! 🤩 The Painted Wild creative workshop, led by talented artist Sonia Ali, drew inspiration from the wild animals of Asia. The time flew by in a whirlwind of colours and collage on canvas 🎨

It was absolutely brilliant to welcome people of all ages, ethnicities and artistic abilities - and we learned that there is no such thing as being "bad at art!"

Community, conversation and creativity 💛 This is what Chai Mixers is about! Following on from a fantastic first event, we now bring to you Chai Makes: The Painted Wild 🎨 THIS SUNDAY 21st June, 12pm-2pm. A family-friendly art workshop where you will paint your very own canvas, inspired by the colours and patterns of the wild animals of Asia! 🐅 led by the talented Sonia Ali

This event INCLUDES drinks and delicious Indian snacks lovingly made by ...and there will also be more tasty goodies to purchase if you fancy a little something extra for the afternoon (or maybe as a Father's Day gift...) 😋
